Opening the doors of Madison Resort Wildwood Crest in May 2024 was a dream come true, and this award is a testament to the dedication of our team, the support of our community, and the vision we had for this project from the very beginning. Among 18 nominees from across the country, Madison Resort Wildwood Crest stood out as the sole representative of the New Jersey tri-state area and the clear favorite. We are incredibly honored and humbled by this recognition.
A Vision Rooted in Preservation and Innovation
Our journey with Madison Resort Wildwood Crest began in 2022 when we acquired the beloved Oceanview Motel, an iconic property steeped in history. While we knew we had big plans for its future, preserving its signature Doo-Wop aesthetic was a non-negotiable priority for us. The property was completely rebuilt, and in 2024, it reopened as the Ocean Tower, seamlessly blending modern luxury with timeless charm.
The project didn’t end there. In 2023, we expanded by acquiring the neighboring Royal Hawaiian Motel and reimagined it as the Royal Tower, bringing both properties together as one unified destination under the Madison Resort Wildwood Crest banner. This $54 million investment transformed the property into the largest resort in Cape May County, with over 200 guest rooms, two pools, two restaurants, and direct beach access.
